Renewable energy

  • Renewable energy , also called renewable energy , called energy from sustainable sources , so inexhaustible and environmentally friendly , as no vast amounts of greenhouse gases produced in energy .
  • Fossil fuels such as oil , coal and gas have two major drawbacks : No infinite availability and high climate-damaging emissions.
  • Nuclear power is neither cheap nor good for the climate ! A study commissioned by the BMU is that nuclear power is not CO2-free. In addition, the uranium fuel is not infinite .

In electricity generation, the share of renewable energies in 2006 was already 11.8 percent. By 2020, this proportion should increase to about 27 percent.

Which types of renewable energy are there?

Sun - > Solar Energy

As solar energy or solar energy is called the energy generated from the sun that enters the solar radiation ( radiant energy ) to the earth.

Wind - > Wind Energy

Wind turbines use the kinetic energy of the wind.

Water -> Water Power

Hydropower has previously been used to power mills, saw and hammer mills . The energy of water flow through a turbine is converted into rotational mechanical energy and used to power machinery or generators.

Biomass -> Bioenergy

Biomass , i.e. Wood, organic waste , manure and other substances of plant and animal origin, is the most versatile renewable energy sources. It can be used as a solid, liquid or gaseous fuels to provide heat , to generate electricity or as a fuel .

geothermal

Geothermal , or ground source heat is in the earth's crust in the form of heat energy stored
